a patterned incubus
The project began as a design for a wedding invitation. The initial brief was to design a style from a series of photographs taken in the house of Adelle and Jim. Restored floral plasterwork, a table carved by Jims grandfather. The notion of repeat pattern and lace was the initial starting point. The production of the invites is still ongoing.
The invitations will have cutouts through the card, revealing layers of colour relating to the colours specified.
