CreativeMornings é um encontro gratuito e mensal para as mentes criativas de diferentes mercados se conhecerem e discutirem temas efervescentes e inspiradores. Começou em Nova York, 2008, e hoje tem eventos em 207 cidades em 65 paises do mundo. Os anfitriões voluntários e membros da equipe organizam capítulos locais que não apenas celebram o talento criativo de uma cidade, mas também promovem um espaço aberto para se conectar com indivíduos com interesses semelhantes. De lendas do design a heróis de cidades, os palestrantes são selecionados em cada capítulo com base em um tema global .
CreativeMornings is a free monthly breakfast lecture series designed for creative communities. The concept was simple: breakfast and a short talk one Friday morning a month. Lecturers include professional creators, designers, photographers and illustrators. It all started in NYC, 2008, and today hosts events in 207 cities worldwide in 65 countries. Volunteer hosts and their team members organize local chapters that not only celebrate a city’s creative talent, but also promote an open space to connect with like-minded individuals. From design legends to hometown heroes, speakers are selected by each chapter based on a global theme.
Divergente é aquele que se desenvolve e diferentes direções. Aquele que evolui e explora caminhos partindo de um ponto comum e fluindo por novos horizontes. De um prisma, por outros prismas, por novas ondas e novos ares.
Divergent is the one that develops and different directions. One who evolves and explores paths starting from a common point and flowing through new horizons. From a prism, through other prisms, through new waves and new airs.
Eu me inspirei em duas coisa particulares: grafitte e o framework do double-diamond usado no Design thinking, nele tem fases de pensamento divergente que é quando exploramos as ideias dentro do processo de design. Foi a união perfeita! Sempre gostei de trabalhar com algo mais abstrato, irreal/surreal, então o grafitte junto de um conceito de processo ficou super divertido de se trabalhar. Acho que minhas maiores influências na área são David Carson (designer gráfico), Felipe Pantone (grafitteiro), Highraff (grafitteiro) e o Mike Shinoda (Cantor e artista). Todos tem uma vibe rebelde, grunge que eu adoro.
I was inspired by two particular things: graffiti and the double-diamond model used in the Design thinking process, which has different stages of analysing an idea or a problem when it comes to the design process. It was the perfect match! I always liked to try more abstract art styles, kinda unreal or surreal, so the graffiti applied to that concept was super fun to work with. I think my biggest influences in related areas are David Carson (graphic designer), Felipe Pantone (graffiti artist), Highraff (graffiti artist) and Mike Shinoda (Singer and artist). Everyone has a rebel-ish, grunge vibe that I love.
Tentei fazer um estilo meio glitch, 3d anáglifo, pra brincar com a ideia de realidades alternativas, mas acabou não funcionando tão bem já que o traçado ficou bem detalhado. Virou muita informação na mesma imagem então repensei o estilo gráfico que usaria.
I tried to make an art style with a glitch anaglyph aesthetic, trying to use the idea of alternative realities, but it ended up not working so well since the layout was very detailed. It became a lot of information in the same image so I rethought the graphic style I would use.
