Refresh is a single publication concerning the history of graphic design in Britain in the final decades of the 20th century, with special emphasis on Pentagram Studio.
The magazine focuses on two distinct generations of Pentagram: the modernism era, through the work of designer Colin Forbes and the postmodernism/new wave era through the work of Peter Saville.
The purpose of the project was to establish a connection between the two movements, through the work of two very different designers that had a studio in common, and to understand how Pentagram behaved in one era and the other.
