This is my Logo design of a canteen in Vienna, 11th district. Its a place that offers a variety of dishes including meat, fish, vegetarian and vegan diet. The idea is to offer healthy brain-food which energizes rather than tires the body. The concept was to create a natural, comfortable and yet somehow elegant atmosphere to enjoy a healthy lunch or coffee.
The name "el Berg" derives from the historical denotation of the area where the restaurant is based at. In German is it called "the mountain".

We had a variety of Logo suggestions which show the connection to name (Geiselberg - Goat mountain). However it was more important to stay simple, drawing attention towards the fact that this is a place to eat.
There are weekly changing menus and a menu for snacks and drinks.
