GROCERY STORE K9

Saint-Petersburg | 102 sq.m

A small grocery store on the Petrogradskaya side is conceived as a counterpoint to the monochrome context of St. Petersburg - a warm gamma of finishing materials, metlakh-tiles and abstract graphics on the walls resemble rather a traditional private shop somewhere in the southern part of Europe, made almost entirely by the hands of the owner, rather than the usual "Convenience store". At the same time, the ratio of neutral and accent elements is accurately measured - after all, the main decoration of a good store will always be its bright fresh groceries

For such a small area, developing an optimal layout was the main task. The arrangement of shelves, fridges and technical areas sets convenient routes for the visitors and staff and allows to place all types of goods. Thus, the assortment of a convenience store is practically not inferior to a hypermarket

Color accents, to the purpose, have an extremely functional meaning - they highlight key areas (for example, a cash register zone with its own bread machine) and navigation elements that every new visitor should quickly and easily recognize. Navigation through departments provides for easy and quick replacement - to change designations, for example, seasonal or promotional items. Materials such as ceramic tiles and plywood can withstand all the stresses of use, while at the same time creating comfort
