Baliktaran is an anomaly of extremes, a showcase of opposite realities displayed side by side, a yin and yang of color and aesthetic. It is an exhibition brought forth by the conscious and subconscious ideas of the collective of Multimedia Arts & Sciences student-artists from the Mapua Institute of Technology.

I will explain how did I manage in creating and promoting the materials.

We only got a short time of creating these materials since our school runs 4 semester a year. (two times faster than a normal university/college school)

 

First step: Logo Ambigram by Lea Mercado (obsessive-compulsive designer, very detailed in each of her design) (really admire her)

Second was to create the poster. We had many studies but the awesome illustrator, Nona Calingasan's work was chosen by Sir Meneer Marcelo. 

Since we were more than 40 in the class, I used each member in the class to promote easy and effective.

The objective was to create each of the exhibitors profile picture in Facebook using the concept of "Baliktaran"

 

 

Then I asked  the help of Dean and Joshua to organize a photoshoot for the promotions of the exhibit.

We first released the teaser. Everyone is obliged to change their profile picture as a help to promote the exhibition.

I also requested to make this as their cover photo.

And rendered the final version.
