The mythical space that was the nightclub Frágil at Bairro Alto, which had its heyday in the 80s and 90s, saw many of those who became Portuguese rock stars, artists and actors pass by. Frágil became a community, a space for sharing and trust. In the pandemic context, where these spaces couldn’t be opened, appeared a will to go back to the past and remember the crazy parties held at the Bairro Alto nightclub. This photobook arises from this revisiting of the past through texts and images made available by Frágil in an online photographic collection.
