Maurits de Hoog
Maurits de Hoog is an urbanist and lives in Amsterdam. He has been working in the Planning Department of the City of Amsterdam. From 2008 until 2012 he was professor of Metropolitan and Regional Design in the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Technology in Delft. Now he will continue as a self-employed urbanist with a focus on advice, design, lectures and workshops.
For this new phase I am involved in developing an identity and website. The identity has a clear and open character. The abstract elements are inspired by (existing) floor plans, drawn by Maurits, and together they form the navigation panel of the website. Each element and associated color is linked to one of the components on the website.
