Don't Lose Yourself, Embrace It

"Don't Lose Yourself, Embrace It"
As an art history assignment, I was task to create a campaign by putting a twist on old classical paintings as the main visual and for this, I chose to create a campaign for Women's Aid Organization" (WAO).
Background
Different people have standards of beauty. As such, people would tend to perceive beauty differently as how they want it to be rather than how they are. Because of that, women would tend to feel insecure about their appearance because of the standards of beauty that society expects them to conform to. As such they would tend to change in order to gain acceptance.
Issue
They would change according to who others want them to be and they would lose touch of who they are in the process.
Strategy
To create posters in a set of three based from paintings to send the message. To influence the audience that we shouldn’t lose individuality in the thoughts of others so that they could gain acceptance.

Idea
In my visuals, I plan to use three paintings different paintings that represents beauty in their own era. But in the process, I have the three of them wiping off their own faces with a piece o cloth to a blank canvas to show them abandoning their individuality to conform to social standards.
