In order to analyze the color theory and the controversy around it, the goal of this project was to create a book that would allow to illustrate and study different aspects of color such as:  Contrast, gradient, shadow and light, gray scale, mixture, tone on tone and direction.  The book was made by hand stitching and wrapping color threads to different pieces of cardboard (black or white).

During the project it was interesting to notice how some constructions in the book could create an optical illusion, where the color concentration, the quantity and the tone of the threads, influenced the perception and transmitted movement and three-dimensionality, making a simple thread that travels from one point to another, look like a confused and complicated composition.
