Kitchenmade or kitchenmaid, are two words that in greek language are being pronounced the same. A woman, living in the present, is preparing to go out in a different way. Household utensils are transformed into clothes, cosmetics and accessories. The project, through a process of disguise, attempts to make a social comment about the position of women in contemporary society. Even today, there are opinions which want the woman to be locked up in her "realm", the kitchen. Gender equality is not taken for granted.
The Performance is dedicated to every woman and the fight against female oppression.
