The video piece ‘I am here I’ am there’ symbolizes the muddled state of the artists’ while being away from their origins, infuriated to stay connected to their roots and at the same time making effort to be part of other cultures and nations. Whereas, struggling to define, it’s actual identity as an artist and share it with the people back home and people living in the same country, utilizing the digital platforms of connection to build and express its lost link. The work implies the constant connection and disconnection artists’ feels with self and with its origins.
