    In the world, pig meat is the most commonly eaten. According to surces USDA infact, it is estimated that were raides in 2010, 1,185,848,000 pigs. Chima and European Union are those who raise more pigs, followed by the United States, Russia, Brazil and Canada. In Italy, according to istat and Eurostat, in 2010 were 13,760,401 hogs slaughtered. In this specific case, this work was carried out in a huge intensive farming of Lombardy, with activists of animal rights association 'Nemesi Animale' - http://www.nemesianimale.net - who denounce the appalling conditions in which live pigs and animals in general. 90& of porks that comes on our plates infact, comes from intensive factory farms. The peculiarity of intensive farming is thatthey are real industries for the prouctions of animals, divided into specific compratments: the reproduction department and the fattening deparment. The hygenic conditions are very bad: hundreds of cockroaches and flies, dead puppies inside and outside the cages. The vaginas of infected sows and swollen by continuous artificial inseminations. Hot and unbearable stench. The life of these animals is costantly in cages so narrow not give any chance of movement, without ever having the chace to see the light of the sun and live naturally.
