Forum Film Dokumenter is a nonprofit organization focusing on documentary film as a medium of expression and knowledge sharing through exhibition, education, distribution, and archiving. For nineteen years,  Forum Film Dokumenter have been active in opening collaborations between the filmmakers in the Indonesian filmmaking ecosystem through the medium of documentary.

Festival Film Dokumenter (FFD) is the first documentary film festival in Indonesia as well as in the Southeast Asia that has been held since 2002. This annual program, that is organized by Forum Film Dokumenter, presents documentary as a medium of expression and knowledge ecosystem through exhibitions, discussions, and workshops.

FFD invite an artist to capture festival core values which embodied in a its slogan, “Recording The Remnants, Searching for The Unseen, Finding Insight” in series of illustration which become FFD 2020 visual identity. This year, Candrani Yulis accepted the invitation.
