I've always loved sports uniforms, and my graphic design career began with uniform design.  I started out by making my own designs in programs like GIMP and PowerPoint.  As the 2020-21 City Jerseys began to release, I became inspired to go back to my roots and design my own city edition jersey for every NBA team.
New York City is home to some of the best street ball courts in the world, with none more famous than Rucker Park. Allen Iverson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Dr. J, and so many more learned the game at Rucker.  This jersey pays tribute to the world famous park, inspired by a 1970s era jersey worn at the park
The most iconic team that never happed: The Swamp Dragons.  Over the years, many people have mocked up the original Swamp Dragon uniform, so I decided to take it a slightly more modern route.  This look takes the dragon tail pattern and runs it down both sides of the jersey, with the dragon dribbling on the front.  Oh what could have been.
With the Raptors playing in Tampa for the 2020-21 Season, this uniform takes the already classic "North" look and makes it a little warmer.  The colors are meant to give off a watermelon, beachy vibe.  The mint green color seen is complimentary color of the Raptors base red, which makes this tie in even more to their current feel.
My goal for the Celtics was to come up with a jersey that did not have green, but still felt authentic and something I could envisioning the franchise wearing.  This uniform's inspiration comes from the Boston Flag and the Boston Strong ribbons.  This design sticks to the classic C's design with that
What's more iconic in Chicago than Michael Jordan?  This jersey is based off of the iconic Jordan 3, with the script coming from a unique MJ era jersey.
The three light blue stripes across the jersey represent the three major rivers that flow through Milwaukee.  This idea is inspired by the 2016 Milwaukee Flag, which has an incredible story. To read more and find more of my inspiration, visit milwaukeeflag.com
This look is inspired by the Bad Boy Pistons. The elements are based off of some different merch I found surrounding the team, including the skull and crossbones on the shorts, as well as 80s/90s hip hop culture.
The Pacers already have some iconic throwback uniforms in their locker, so I decided to go back to the ABA with this concept.  This is based off of a 70s era jersey with a beautiful script wordmark.
This uniform is a combination of one of my favorite Cavs uniforms, the late 00s early 10s Lebron era jersey, with one of my favorite color schemes, the bright orange and blue.  Two iconic looks coming together.
Inspired by the original 90s Miami Heat brand, this uni brings a unique orange & yellow watercolor gradient, something you'd wear to the game or on South Beach.  The uniform is based directly off of the original uniform, with the colors coming form the original logo.
One of my all time favorite uniforms in sports is the Dominique Wilkins era Hawks uniform.  This concept takes that and turns it into a blacked out alternate, something that I think would fly off the shelves.
In researching this uniform, I saw many Magic fans wanted to bring back the Tracy McGrady era Stars uniform.  So I went back, and created a Black version of this iconic look, including the number set from the franchises first jerseys, seen on Shaq below.
The inspiration for this jersey comes from the Queen City nickname the city of Charlotte holds.  The gold text represents the Crown, and the purple accents both show the color of royalty and pay homage to the iconic Hornets jersey. Brown was chosen to continue this franchises history of pushing the uniform boundaries, like the classic stripes & 20-21 Mint uniform.
This is the "Election Night" jersey, inspired by the purple ties and dresses you see news anchors wear while covering the election, as to show neutrality from any parties.  This uniform continues the NBAs push to encourage voting while tying in the Washington Monument and the iconic "Jump Ball" DC logo.
