Traffic Museum: Patrimonio

Traffic Museum is Traffic Magazine's cultural project. Through fashion, it aims to activate the public space and to work as a window for local talent. This first edition was inspired by the costarican patrimony: pre-Columbian art, paintings, bills and coins.

The project had 3 phases:
1. A fashion exhibition at Museos del Banco Central, an underground architectural jewel.
2. Ephemeral archictecture: A 5m golden cube, installed on Plaza de la Cultura, on top of the museum, as a way to start a conversation around identity.
3. A night, public fashion runway, around the cube, to activate the space and to close the event.

As the creative-art director for the project, I worked hand by hand with the architecture firm Gensler, who was in charge of the exhibition display and also to create an ephemeral golden acrylic cube, as well as with the museum curators, the designers and all the communication.
