“LA GRAN DESCONOCIDA. Uganda- Ruanda- Kenia”.
Es una exhibición fotográfica que nos transporta a la desconocida África del Este, donde sus habitantes nos muestran sus ritos, sus lugares de tránsito, sus vestimentas y todas las historias que esconden sus miradas.
Folil Pueller, fotógrafa chilena radicada en Europa, se sumerge en las vidas de las tribus de Uganda compartiendo estrechamente su día a día con ellos, recorre largas distancias hasta “la tierra de las mil colinas” en Ruanda para conocer a los jóvenes sobrevivientes del genocidio y pasa extensas horas de viaje hasta Kenia en busca de Umoja, la “aldea de las mujeres” para hacer de nexo entre los habitantes de esas tierras lejanas y occidente, abatiendo distancias geográficas y mentales con fotografías llenas de vida y color en un viaje que duró en total cerca de 7 meses.

Folil Pueller, a Chilean photographer based in Europe, immerses herself in the lives of the Ugandan tribes, closely sharing her day-to-day with them, traveling long distances to “the land of a thousand hills” in Rwanda to meet the young survivors of the genocide and spends long hours traveling to Kenya in search of Umoja, the "village of women" to act as a link between the inhabitants of these distant lands and the West, closing geographical and mental distances with photographs full of life and color in a journey that it lasted in total about 7 months.
