Corporate Design Jugendpresse BW
The challenge: Creating an integrated design for three logos. One for the Jugendpresse BW (student press association for a federal state), one for an event managed by the Jugendpresse BW called Jugendmedientage (JMT) and one for their 30-year annual.
 
I didn't want to use a simple visualisation with a pen, newspaper or something like this. Instead i considered a more abstract design, which stands for creativity and versatility, is more noticeable and easy to remember. 
This is what i first came up with.

Both designs appealed and therefore nobody wanted to make a decision. So i just melted them together with this result:
The annual logo stands out a bit, but that's wanted. Within 30 years happened way more than only three colors and their facetes can express.
 
 
The color-facetes are now used for branding the webcontents and prints of the Jugendpresse BW, e.g. the letter paper:
