Harpa Reykjavik Concert Hall identity
The project was based on a simple geometry of lines, which symbolizes the basalt columns. Inspired by these rocks, architect Olafur Eliasson designed the building. The facade consists of repetitive modular steel and glass elements. The same technique was taken as the basis for the identity design.
Black is the main color of the landscape in Iceland. It reflects the strong and harsh spirit of the region.
