I have chosen pomegranates as my source of
inspiration. Pomegranates are a wonderful
fruit that have several contrasting elements in
terms of flavor (sweet and sour) and texture.
The contrasting textures of its outer shell and
the seeds within particularly resonated with
me. Being an introvert I feel that I am very shy
and closed off on the outside, but once I
become comfortable around someone my
personality is the complete opposite.
Therefore, the pomegranate essentially
represents me.
The contrasting textures also have aesthetic
appeal, and I feel the fruit has a lot to offer in
terms of design.
I have also chosen salt and pepper as
supporting elements, interpreting their grains
as geometric designs.
