The North Shore of Maui is one of the best locations in the world for surfing .  The reefs hidden below the waves ensure that Ho'okipa has some of the finest surf breaks along the North Shore.  Located on the Hana Highway, Ho'okipa is considered the ultimate windsurfing spot by professionals from around the world.  Just down the road is Mama's Fish House, considered by many to be the best restaurant in Hawaii and among the very best in the world.  This photograph was captured using a Nikon 300s and Nikkor 24-70mm/F2.8 lens.  Black and white conversion was achieved using Nik Silver Efex Pro 2.  Other post-processing rendered using Photoshop CC and Nik Complete Collection.
