Trap-Free NM Report: Trapping in New Mexico

Trap-Free New Mexico / WildEarth Guardians
New Mexico [was] one of the few southwestern states to still allow animal trapping on public lands. For a mere $25, anyone can acquire a license to set an unlimited number of traps on public land, resulting in the pain, suffering, and cruel deaths of many pets and non-target animals as well as the cruel deaths of those targeted.

Trap-Free New Mexico is a coalition of environmental and animal welfare groups working to change this. Visit trapfreenm.org to learn more and to read the full report.
