Blogcipe Conference Identity

Through this conference identity project, I wanted to explore ways to communicate the value of a food
blogging conference (the majority of existing food blogging conferences include the phrase "food blog conference" in their names or taglines, or both, and I wanted to challenge this). The existing conference
Food Blogger Connect was used as a reference to learn about the aspects of a food blogging conference
and the value it provides to food bloggers.

The main purpose of the food blogging conference is to provide a place where food bloggers can come together to share their ideas and tips on food blogging. The conference promotes food blogging and
helps bloggers improve their blogging skills. “Blogcipe” is the combination of two words, “blog” and “recipe.” Blogcipe together with its tagline "Spice up your blog" conveys the idea of providing a recipe for making
better food blogs. The logo mark showing the seasoning again emphasizes the concept of food and relates back to the tagline. In addition, the logo mark is an abstract representation oftwo people gathering  and
communicating. The word “blog” is emphasized in bold for easier recognition.
When an invitee holds the invitation card open, the pocket containing spices opens in the direction of gravity, allowing the spices to come out of the pocket. It was designed to turn the invitation into a memorable gift while at the same time emphasizing the source of where it came from—Blogcipe.
