I am in the process of putting together a book of photos that I have been taking over the past year in an attempt to find beauty in an otherwise dark and isolating time.
In 2020, I found balance and inspiration by walking miles daily around Manhattan and its environs, camera in hand. This book chronicles some of these journeys from March through December, a time of lockdowns and social distancing, which enabled me to change my perspective and use creativity and art as a way to deal with life during the Covid-19 Pandemic. I used my time this past year to learn and grow spiritually and artistically, seeing the world in new ways through the lens of my camera.
