For branding of the company, I wanted to create a modern logo that would stand on its own with just the logotype, but could also be combined with a simple graphic to make more striking.

In the end, I added a graphic element as part of the logo itself to tie the whole thing together. 

I also tried out a few color combinations. As both me and my husband want to use this logo and have fairly different approaches and styles, the logo can be used with slightly different shades per person. I felt very drawn to the blue and purple, while my husband liked the blue one more.
