Seoul cultural center concept

Location: Seoul, South Korea
Description: The concept of cultural space in Seoul, which was created in the place of an old bus park, was made for competition and exhibition in Seoul. The construction of light and easily-made building is created primarily with ecological wooden materials. The building recalls in its form a children building kit, showing how easy and playful modern architecture
can be. The main focus of the building is to create a local library that attracts a community of poets and artists.
The area of the project is located between the old low-level wooden houses and the mountains, that’s why the main idea was to create a building that will have no impact on the surrounding landscape. It supposed to be a construction that neither has any influence on the ecological environment. The montane milieu determined the shape of the construction simple and natural.
