ANPPCAN stands for the African Network for Prevention and Protection against Child Abuse and Neglect. It is a pan African network that promotes child rights and child protection in Africa. I had the privilege of working with them for nearly one year at their headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya.

During my placement, they requested a complete overhaul of their brand, website and all marketing material. They wanted to present a more positive, capable and approachable identity, and a website that they could easily update and use to promote their many conferences and initiatives. We completely re-branded their identity, and created a new logo in line with their goals. We created a new website that was easy for them to update and promote their many conferences and initiatives.

I also spent several weeks traveling with ANPPCAN’s Program Officers throughout Nairobi and rural Kenya to get a deeper understanding of ANPPCAN’s impact. My goal was to document the work they are doing through photography and video. These are a few of the photos I took while with ANPPCAN.
