Problem Definition
A few days ago, I came across ice tea cans in a supermarket. I do not like iced tea. I thought to myself what changes in the packaging of this product could motivate me to buy it.
Design Story
Tea has a remarkable place in the daily life of Iranians. The most common way to prepare it is to brew it in a porcelain teapot. From the early days of our lives we have seen these teapots. Teapots with rose design are among the most familiar designs that are always reminiscent of tea. I used this nostalgic element to design the can of iced tea product.
Impact
The design is a added value to iced tea product in a sense that some people would be intrigued to buy it, even though they might not like the iced tea itself. This can be a very cheap solution for an iced tea business to help increase the sales of its product without spending a lot of money on advertising and just by changing the printing on the can.
If tea is to be canned, then this probably is my favorite can!
