This project was made for Ektara Publishing House. It illustrates Shashi Sablok's story titled "Taarik ka Suraj" (meaning Taarik's sun). The story is surreal and soft, and it touches upon one's emotions of fear and security. It was important to capture the subtlety and the dreamlike feeling that the story invokes, in the illustrations as well. Here, making concrete figures and sharp lines would have taken away from the mood of the narrative.

The juxtaposition of small and big elements are mixed well in the story which reflect a mystical representation of events.
