BubPop - Packaging & Product Design

Branding & Identity

Packaging Design
BubPop Vitamins

Brief
An unlikely pairing between a disparate historical theme and product forms the platform for this identity exploration and development. This followed by this second half of the project, further interpretive thinking to conceptualise and visualise an innovative packaging concept. A style guide serves to outline the design parameters and establish the identity set.

The aims are to understand the value of interpretive thinking as an active type of thinking that considers how type and image, as expressions of intent, can be used to represent a position or perspective in an effective design solution.

Rationale
Creating packaging for my BubPop brand was not easy as it is such an unique and fragile project. I created very geometric looking juice boxes, linking in with the modern look, yet they are not like normal looking juice boxes. The vitamins also come in weekly packs that are the juice boxes stacked on top of each other to form a BubPop character to appeal to children. The range is also taken further into different flavours extending the colour palette.

Deliverables
1. Branding
2. 3D mockups
