Essa é uma forma de destacar a obra de um dos grandes intérpretes pretos da música brasileira, Wilson Simonal. O projeto consiste na linguagem visual e desdobramentos da edição para colecionador do disco “Alegria, Alegria” Volume 01, lançado em 1969 pelo cantor.
Mais conhecido como rei da pilantragem, Simonal esbanjava malemolência e suingue. Pra evidenciar toda sua musicalidade, o ponto de partida para construção da linguagem foi o uso de uma fonte dingbat como base, proporcionando ritmo e frequência claros. As cores foram inspiradas na estética da virada da década 1960/1970.
This is a way to highlight the work of one of the great black performers of Brazilian music, Wilson Simonal. The project consists of the visual language and unfoldings of the collector's edition of the album "Alegria, Alegria" Volume 01, released in 1969 by the singer. Best known as the king of "pilantragem", Simonal oozed malemolence and swing. To show all his musicality, the starting point for building the language was the use of a dingbat font as a base, providing clear rhythm and frequency. The colors were inspired by the aesthetics of the turn of the 1960s/1970s.
No encarte e nos desdobramentos o objetivo era mostrar o cruzamento da história de Simonal com o conceito do disco. Por isso, a ilustração flat com cores flúor entra em cena junto com um projeto editorial estruturado com composições tipográficas.
In the booklet and the unfoldings the goal was to show the crossing of Simonal's story with the concept of the record. For this reason, the apartment illustration with fluor colors comes into play together with an editorial project structured with typographic compositions.
