DUTCH DESIGN WEEK
2020 / FLORIADE
2020 / FLORIADE
For the Dutch Design Week 2020 the Floriade (the World Horticultural Exhibition
held every 10 years in The Netherlands) commissioned an installation to promote
its upcoming edition of 2022, with the theme “Growing Green Cities”.
The architectural design of the exhibition consists of 7 booths that resent the
themes of all past 7 Floriades, placed on the rooftop of the temporary container village Plug-In-City. The graphic / exhibition design follows the floor plan of the architecture. Giving each booth, represented by the square of its surface, a distinct color is the starting point for the visual identity of the exhibition.
