Videography Breakdown
The following videos come from the artistic side of my persona, whom I refer to as "Remnant".  I've divided these into choreographed, candid and experimental categories below.

In a few cases, I may have sampled audio & verbiage from cartoons, TV series, movies & music I grew up with or made emblematic references to these but do so as a CC license exercise under non-commercial intent. Please feel free to contact me about adding specific attributions if you feel they are needed.

Thank you and view-on!
Choreographed Music Videos
These are some of my more post-processed videos via Final Cut Pro.  They may include real-time choreography of physical body movements and post-production choreography of visual and aural elements.
Turbulent Tranquility

Music video made for my sister's wedding to capture the tumultuous feelings that go into making that awesome but FINAL destination - Summer 2009.

Created with Final Cut Pro, Garageband, Original Lyrics, and Love

His Cinderella

Music video made for my sister's wedding and played behind my father and sister during their father-daughter dance while we all witnessed this tear-jerker in San Juan, Puerto Rico :-)  - Summer 2009

Created with Final Cut Pro, Garageband, and Love.

Credits also go to Steven Curtis Chapman for the use of his song "Cinderella" in a non-commercial way!  Thanks for letting us match your awesome song to remember this awesome moment together man :-)
Ruiner Version 2: Rebuilding the Ruins

This is a video of a Modern Dance final project of mine. An attempt to combine Lester Horton dance techniques with Trent Reznor's (Nine Inch Nails) layered and melodic industrial/alternative soundscapes was made - I hope I did each of them some justice :-)

Credits obviously go to Trent Reznor and the awesome band NIN for the use of his original song "Ruiner" in a non-commercial way!

WARNING:

I injected my own interpretations of what it might feel to be persecuted in society for any reason but chose sexual orientation as my focal point. I personally choose heterosexuality in my life but I do not judge anyone for the choices we each make as I leave all judgement up to our Creator as evidenced by the intro where you can hear a recording of some of my poetry synthesized with some of my own Garageband melodies and weaved into Trent's intense lyrics in his song "Ruiner".

It would be cool to sing with him one day ...

Cabin Fever

A silly music video I made of my family's 2007 Smoky Mountains trip where we spent a few days in a wonderful log cabin overlooking a serene forest.  There was family, honesty, messy kids, cookouts, melted marsh mallows, wide screen HDTVs connected to game consoles, pool tables in the loft area, embarrassing karaoke, natural rock decorated hot tub's in every bathroom, huge 2 family balconies and a kitchen area where beer, wine, and girly drinks were plentiful (I drank mostly the girly ones, as if I needed to clarify on that ;-)

The video is the opening scene behind the menu on the DVD that was created to commemorate the event. The music is an original tune I hammered out on the electric GeeTah while plugged into GarageBand.

I'm so looking for a part 2 in 2011 :-)  Who's in?
Experimental Videos
These are some of the more experimental (read "bizarre" :-) examples of the visuals that float through my mind.
There Can't Be Only One

Wow, what can I say other than I am happy I was finally able to strip the proprietary codec away from this video and convert it to an mp4 so I could share it with all of you :-)

This is one of my earliest attempts at experimental video editing for distribution on video discs. I actually burned this to a regular CD back in 2001 (as a VCD) since there were still many proprietary vs open standards wars going on in the DVD arena making it infeasible for the average broke consumer to use that medium.

This was a time when my creativity was going head-to-head with an eventual need for some maturity and the result was my shocking awareness of that fact. During a stealth operation "Baby Coverup" mission, Angel and I played this video to my brother, sisters, mother, father, uncle, aunt, and cousins during a family get-together in Cleveland. We let the video speak for itself as their mouths agape gasped for an air of understanding of what they had all truly witnessed.

I love surprises :-)
