Printmaking
The silkscreens are of Warner Baxter and Anne Francis, who represent archetypal villains of good old fashioned cinema. We have the handsome, charming con man who seems perfectly honest on the surface, and the (literally) red-hot femme fatale that you can spot from a mile away.
This letterpressed card was a self-initiated project, made with 4 lino cuts and lead type.
This intaglio print was made from a photosensitive zinc plate, etched with copper sulphate.
This photo-litho print was made from a very thin, photosensitive aluminum plate. It was laid on top of a lithography stone and printed with a regular litho press, which was the first time I ever received a static electric shock from a sheet of newsprint...
