Superfície (surface) was created in 2020 as our experimental undergraduate thesis.
It aims to visually explore the possibilities presented by the concepts of materiality

Metatipo is a metamorphic, experimental and unique typography composed by 36 characters
(being the 26 letters of the latin alphabet plus 10 numbers, from 0-9).

It is based on a vectorized type, in which each character was designed
in a unique style, making it highly diverse.

Then, inspired by the four states of matter (gas, liquid, glass and solid), every letter and number was recreated using different techniques that reproduced the main characteristics of each physical state. Therefore, Metatipo incorporates a series of experiments of materiality and also explores the infinite possibilities of type design.
