CONCEPT DESIGN for RESTING AFO
Designing Resting AFO for our client, here is the finalization of the concept design; but first let's see what is AFO means?
AFO stands for "Ankle-Foot Orthosis", which is used for indications such as Drop Foot, Arthritis, Posterior Tibial Tendon Dysfunction, Ankle Instability, Paralysis, Ankle Fusion, and Multiple Sclerosis.
And the "Resting AFO" usually uses after surgery, while resting the foot or at night time when the patient is sleeping.

The design brief of our client was, make this Rest AFO design also available for small walks, in a short period. For this matter, we made a rubber sole that can detachable from the AFO when it is needed. The T Support uses for the right angle when the patient on resting positions.
There are 3 different sizes such as S-M-L but the range of the foot size number is from 36 to 44.
