The Musha Playing Cards were inspired from the intricate and colourful visual elements of Musha-e, traditional Japanese woodblock printing featuring portrayals of warrior figures, and court cards based on the colourful characters of Suikoden, a tale of a band of Robin Hood-esque hero bandits. 
The cards and tuck case were printed by USPCC in the U.S.
