UX Prototype & Interactive Design ——— 2020
Creative Bunch

Overview: Creative Bunch is a mobile application prototype with the purpose to encourage high school students ages 13-17 to “discover design” and look into a career in a design field after graduation.

Scope: UX Design, Prototyping, Interactive Design, Animation

Concept: #DiscoverDesign
My team and I were tasked with creating an informative app that encourages high school students ages 13-17 to explore a career in the design field. The concept was carried out by introducing the different areas of design as personalities, such as "the printer,"  that students could relate to.
Design Process
The concept is implemented throughout the playful color scheme, character illustrations, and by breaking down the various areas of the world of design into different personalities each student can relate to. Within each personality, students can learn about the background, impact, and career opportunities associated with that design field. Career options can be starred and saved in the student’s profile on the app. Within the profile section, students can view their design personality, see careers they’ve starred, compete in design challenges, and see the design school options available in their area.

UX Design & Prototyping
The app prototype was build using Adobe XD. UX design elements included in the prototype are hover states, page transitions, animations, and pop up notifications. The app also features a fully functional home page and profile page.
