    For the 40th anniversary season of local cultural jewel Unicorn Theater, Willoughby created an evocative poster for each of the seven BOLDNEWPLAYS the theater will present this season. Posters pose a unique challenge for designers as the best ones straddle the line between art and marketing. To ensure each BOLDNEWPLAY poster not only communicated the information required, but also packed in as much purpose, meaning and beauty possible, Willoughby designers worked from research, scripts and input from the theatre’s artistic director, Cynthia Levin.
