Project year: 2020
Location: Rzhyshchiv, Ukraine
Beauty of nature
Due to the location of buildings at different levels and at the proper distance from each other – nothing blocks the view.
Each house offers a stunning view of the Dnipro River.

Proportionality and compactness
Small cabin 1 is divided into two volumes, so the house does not look massive from the outside, while remaining spacious on the inside. In addition, thanks to this shape, both the living room and the bedroom have a beautiful view of the Dnipro River through the panoramic windows.

Dark
Dark finishes help us focus on what’s important. The interior seems to dissolve into space, leaving us alone with nature.

Light
High ceilings combined with light wood finishes make the house spacious, warm and cozy. And the sun’s rays gliding across the broken surfaces of the walls and ceiling create a composition of light and shade.

Natural shape
The volume of the Small cabin 2 is a rectangular prism with slightly distorted proportions and beveled edges, as geometrically regular shapes are perceived man-made. There are no perfect geometric shapes in nature.
