A concept of a smart assistant aimed primarily for kids. Even though I find the idea of bringing children into contact with technology at an early age abhorrent, it was interesting to try to make the objects more friendly. I didn't submit this because this was more the idea of a friend so i felt wrong somehow, whilst it was a real fun challenge working with these rounded shapes. Also few things still feel too much like a compromise or not thought through like the overall object sizes, the scaling of the floor and many rendering artifacts. Still i like the overall look and vibe which is why i still uploaded it.
Down here you can see the colour variation (bb8?) i had in mind but the all white looked way cleaner. Also i've added a picture in which you can see how i try to find shapes that i like when i dont sketch and work fully digital. I just do small deformations per object until i find a direction that i like and want to pursue. This picture was before i decided i wanted to go for a more 'childish' style. Who is also triggered that i was too lazy to make the objects fit into the grid?
