Digitalizing Bamboo project | 2020
Thaalolam (താലോലം) in Malayalam stands for coddling and pampering a baby. Thaalolam is an interactive, digitalized bamboo product aimed to provide a stress free environment for the parents and the baby.
It is an attempt to practice sustainability in design by using naturally derived and eco friendly materials like glass and bamboo in the core.
Working of "Thaalolam...": The device gets activated by sensing a baby in distress through sound cues, and automatically switches off as soon as the baby is calm. The device is designed to produce jingles and dancing light patterns accompanying the recorded music/message from the parent that keeps the baby calm and amused.
