This is the project of an illustrated book inspired by "Alice in Wonderland", the masterpiece of Lewis Carroll. I've developed this project during the Illustration course in Escuela de Arte Número Diez in Madrid.

The concept was to create a brand new story inspired on Alice's adventures, so I wrote this new story setting the action in Amsterdam, inspired by a trip in that city.

I've decided to structure the book like a moleskine diary, in which Alice would write and draw her adventure. All the illustrations focus on the details that caught Alice's attention.
I've tried to use a new technique and, under suggestion of my professor, I've drawn all the illustrations with my left hand (I'm a right-handed person) in order to give them the rough appearance of drawings  quickly sketched on a notepad.
The Rabbit / Delivery guy with rabbit ears on his helmet
The little door at the end of the tunnel
The size-changing cookies and bottles / Size changing drink
Alice's tears flood the room / Alice gets wet in a puddle
Alice gets stuck in the little house
The Caterpillar
The Cheshire cat
A ticket for the Queen's party
A very strange tea party
The Queen of Hearts
Alice
The book appears like a notepad, where Alice writes down and sketches her adventure. The internal pages can be read in the regular occidental way, or they can be opened like an accordion. I've decided to create this binding in order to give to the book the appearance of a "japanese album" where you can remove the central pages and obtain a continuous stripe of texts and images.
