Filmmaking Showreel
This is a brief showreel with the purpose of exhibiting my more dramatic work. While I have done plenty of projects of other kinds of work, such as dialogue-heavy comedies and metal music videos, it's these projects that ignite my passion more than anything else. It also includes a full scene from my final project at Molkom Folkhögskola, "The Stage of Normandy". It's about stage director Erland as his debut play is about to premiere, but tensions rise as his female lead and ex-lover Fanny finds out the play might be about their dysfunctional relationship. In this scene Erland confronts Fanny after she intentionally sabotaged a scene during previews the night before the premiere.
Still photography
While still analog photography is something I personally consider more of a hobby as opposed to something I want to work with in the future, it has a purpose in that I'm allowed to scratch that analog itch I've had for so long. And since I haven't been able to shoot analog within the realms of filmmaking, still photography is a nice creative outlet in the meantime. Here's a collection of random 35mm photos I shot during my visit to Gothenberg International Film Festival 2020.
Screenplay
Finally, here's a short unfinished screenplay I wrote a while back. I picked it partly because it was the only script I had laying around in english, but also because it shows my more comedic side, with tight witty dialogue, as mentioned previously. I got the idea in the wake of the MeToo movement, and works as a darkly comedic scenario showing the sinister damage control behind the scenes of a celebrity being accused of some sort of sexual misconduct. I wasn't sure it would ever be put to use, but I'm glad I finally had a reason to show it.
