The Evolution Championship Series (Evo for short) represents the largest and longest-running fighting game tournaments in the world. Evo brings together the best of the best from around the world in a dazzling exhibition of skill and fun, as players and fans gather to honor the competitive spirit in an open format and determine a champion. This organized by a collective of gamers and streamers working with venues across the states to form a welcoming and competitive environement for their participents.
EVO has been running their tournaments since 2002, with attendance increasing substantially with every successful venue until they became the most popular gaming tournament period. That being said, it has been 18 years, and their logo, while being recognizable, its dated. The e gaming industry in 2020 is doing very well in terms of earning its keep in mainstream media. EVO brings many moments that are cherished and loved by the community, but the coffee in the cup is delicious, the cup can look a whole lot better.
