During the 1800's, literary works done by William Shakespeare, William Wordsworth, etc, were becoming popular due to their emotional and moving stories. People started giving importance to individuality, and emotions. Marriage once seen only as a business contract, was now being given importance to for it's emotional aspect, for love. More importance was given to beauty and following the heart. Hence an art movement started in Europe called romanticism, where extreme attention to drama, details and emotions was given. From exaggerated surroundings to overly flowing fabrics and expressive faces, this art movement is truly one of a kind.
Concept: A woman yearning for or waiting for her lover to come visit her and is getting ready so the lover can come see her. Lavish background and flowy fabric like saree for an Indian interpretation of the art movement.
