This was a campaign that I worked on with my team during my time with my last full-time agency and although this is the pitch work, the agency won the business soon after. From what I've seen the pitch work looked better than what was eventually executed. Sharjah is the cultural capital of the UAE and the focus of the creative idea was on the raw and pure experiences that the city offers across Arab heritage, culture, food and entertainment, which is quite wholesome and not pretentious thus targeting tourists who are looking for that authenticity as domestic or international travelers.

We created 2 completely different routes for the purpose of the pitch and the client rolled out the first option.

ROUTE 1 - #WHEREITALLBEGINS
Sharjah is a place stooped in rich heritage, history, contemporary art and culture. It has witnessed the beginning of many trends, art styles, literary revolutions and more.Today it is the journey of every tourist beginning to discover something new about themselves. Be back in time or today Sharjah is where it all begins.
ROUTE 2 - #SHARJAHBYSHARJAH
Sharjah is a so much more than a city. It is an experience. So, who better to guide tourists through this experience than those who experience Sharjah on a daily basis. The people who call this city their home. The art students, historians, off-roaders, fashionistas or authors who are a product of the rich heritage that Sharjah has to offer. People might have seen Sharjah by road, by sea or even by air. Now they will see Sharjah by Sharjah,
