Eucalyptus camaldulensis, commonly known as the river red gum, is a tree that is endemic to Australia. It has smooth white or cream-colored bark, lance-shaped or curved adult leaves and hemispherical fruit with the valves extending beyond the rim. It is an evergreen Tree growing to 30 m (98ft) by 20 m (65ft) at a fast rate. It is in leaf all year. It cannot grow in the shade. It prefers dry moist or wet soil and can tolerate drought.
