DIVA - Dinosaur Impersonating Virtual Analogue Synthesizer

Diva captures the spirit of various analogue synthesizers by letting the user select from a variety of alternative modules. The oscillators, filters and envelopes closely model components found in some of the greatest monophonic and polyphonic synthesizers of yesteryear.

But what sets DIVA apart from other emulations is the sheer authenticity of the analogue sound. This comes at the cost of quite a high CPU-hit, but we think it was worth it: Diva is the first native software synth that applies methods from industrial circuit simulators (e.g. PSpice) in realtime. The behaviour of our zero-delay-feedback filters when pushed to the limit clearly demonstrates the advantages of this groundbreaking approach.

Software's default GUI

For my own music productions and as a part time studio geek, i myself use DIVA alot in my own projects.

There are countless software instruments in the market and very few of them has the capability to produce hardware instruments sound quaiity. As of my knowledge about the technical aspect, for many years it was impossible for a software to produce hardware quality sounds because it was all about 1's and 0's.. Well it still is 1's and 0's but u-He team are just talented that they developed such a beast.

The instrument is capable of producing sounds of well known analog synthesizers with a superior sound quality and easy to use interface.

Well, it was my opportunity to re-design the GUI and get my software licenses.

My design was supposed to be the default one in the latest update but i guess they are planning it for the next version.

So the design had to give that analogue feeling alongside the modernised approach and there were limitations on positioning the interface elements. It had to be redesigned for future module upgrades and definitely be precise.
