정월대보름 축제를 즐기는 토끼들 이야기
예전만큼 큰 명절은 아니지만, 잊혀져가는 대보름날의 흥미로운 놀이와 풍습을 소개하고 싶었습니다. 방아찧기, 널뛰기, 쥐불놀이, 귀밝이술, 연날리기 등 5가지의 놀이 및 풍습을 귀여운 토끼와 함께 표현했습니다.
Great full moon(daeboreum) is the day of the first full moon of the lunar year. It is a korean traditional holiday. These days, We do not celebrate the day as much as in the past but we still enjoy some games and observe customs.
I hoped to introduce you our some traditional games and customs of the past and present with those rabbits.
So I show you several activities: Bang-ahnol-i, Neolttwigi(Korean Traditional Jumping game), Jwibulnol-i(play with fire), Drinking, Flying kit.
- Each meaning and explanation of the activity is following here:
1. Bang-ahnol-i: Bang-ah is a tool to grind or crush grains into powder. We can make Tteok(떡, rice cake) from that powder.
2. Neolttwigi's rule: The person who jumps high is the winner.
3. Jwibulnol-i(play with fire): It was to drive rats and pests out of the farmland and have fun.
4. Drinking: We had a glass of alcohol that morning because we thought it clears our ears and brings joyful things for that year.
5. Cutting a kite string and flying a kite: means blowing away bad luck for that year.
